My toanga

My Taonga

My treasure is an apple.  It came from
Kolu (a place in India) in the 1700’s.  My grandpa bought an apple orchard and it is still there right now.  The apples are a light red colour. .I got one when I went to India in 2015.  I was five when I got an apple from the orchard.

My grandpa had to walk half an hour uphill to check on the orchard.  He was making a lot of progress growing the apples. He had to do this everyday.  My grandpa had to go on foot to reach the orchard and he had no help at all. He was alone and the apple farm was really long.
