NZ POEM

Aotearoa, New Zealand
Vibrant fruits and muddy gumboots.
Honey and the Easter bunny.
Take a look at Mount Cook.
Cold rivers where we all shiver.
Green stone and a hokey pokey ice cream cone.
Sheep are going to sleep.
Rugby our national sport is never short.
Tonga Maori treasures are always important,
Maori cloaks and wooden boats.
Jacinda Arden is very stern.
Fish on my dish.
Captain Cook, a founder of NZ  with a mighty fishing hook.
Some history remains a mystery.
Wakes on the sea to NZ in the past.
Loads of knowledge all from college.
Mapping the land with a wooden sailing ship.
Land being bought and children being taught.

Aotearoa, a special place that we all appreciate.
