How did the dinosaurs become extinct

How did the Dinosaurs Become Extinct?

What is a dinosaur?
Dinosaurs, reptiles from the past, are known as harmful and dangerous creatures. But not all were meat eaters (Things that eat other living things) , some dinosaurs were herbivores (vegetarians) and only ate plants. (not humans so don’t get creeped out).

Physical Characteristics of Dinosaurs
Some dinosaurs had sharp claws and dangerous jaws to kill their predators.  Other dinosaurs didn’t have any scary features like claws. While some may have a gigantic size and a very S   L O    W pace , others could be really fast and some could even fly.

The smallest dinosaur was a Saltopus which is a 2 feet (60 cm) long dinosaur. One of the biggest dinosaurs was an Argentinosaurus, which is 15 feet tall (4.572m). The fastest dinosaur was an ostrich mimic, which could run 25 miles per hour (40.23 km per hour). Meanwhile, the s l o w e s t dinosaur was the  brachiosaurus, whos maximum speed was 10mph. (16.09 kilometres per hour).

Theories of how the Dinosaurs became Extinct
The first theory of how the dinosaurs got wiped out of history is the volcano theory. The dinosaurs were having a normal day until a volcano on earth erupted and the land was covered with lava. Then after a few moments, all the dinosaurs died and were extinct. Then their fossils got hardened and encased in stone.

The other theory of how the dinosaurs died out was the meteor theory. Then one day ,when the dinosaurs were still alive and didn’t really care about what was happening for all these years. According to one of the theories ,which we don't know if it is true or not, the meteor was coming to earth but it was taking a lot of years to hit earth. And then out of nowhere a meteor came and obliterated all the dinosaurs. The meteor was 10 kilometers long. The meteor hit the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico (see last link below on info about the Yucatán Peninsula).  Then the smaller reptiles probably got saved by their small size and could fit in the small holes and spots in the meteor and survived.
The dinosaurs all died-out (the big ones) and most of the dinosaur skulls were buried deep in the soil in parts of the earth.  They are somehow preserved or encased in rock and are called fossils.

Conclusion
Humans still search for these fascinating creatures, the old rulers of the earth.  It isn’t certain how the dinosaurs died out but theories do exist. Maybe people might find some major clues but for now… the mystery of how the dinosaurs became extinct will stay that way.
